Barbara K. Clement’s Third Main Liners Title Published

Barbara K. Clement has done it again…Jessica Rawlins and all the
Main Liners have been drawn into another vortex of mystery and
murder and intrigue. In her third installment, Main Liners:
Vortex of Secrets, Ms. Clement crafted this story through
months of murders, secrets, international intrigue,
international treasures…and when it was complete, she sighed, “All

The two central characters, aging sisters Edwina and Viola
Tyrwhitt, think they’ve left the tragedy and turmoil of their
youth behind. They live comfortably in their shared home
alongside St. Edmund’s University, until their illusion of
tranquility is destroyed with the collapse of the bell tower on
their property. expose Skeletal remains buried deep beneath the
chapel floor are exposed and the vortex begins to turn! Their
journey to discern who these people were and how they came to be
buried on their Main Line property reveals that it is never too
late to confront family secrets. What’s more, the bones are
intertwined with many, many secrets for many Main Liners.
The Main Line has a
rich history and a picturesque landscape, and has served as home
and playground for Philadelphia's elite for decades. It provides
the perfect setting for Clement's mystery series. Vortex
follows Legacy of Deceit, published in 2009 and The
Blue Fahua, published in 2010.
Barbara K. Clement retired from Villanova University in 2008 to
begin her career writing novels nestled among the old affluent
families of the Main Line. It is from this inside view that she
crafts her mystery series complete with romance, deception,
money, and family connections. Previously, Ms. Clement was an
executive with Leslie Fay Inc., a multi-faceted fashion company;
an intelligence officer for the U.S. government; and a
syndicated columnist for the Newhouse National News Service and
Chicago Sun Times/Daily News Wire Service. For
2 years, she served as a foreign correspondent, covering Europe
for the wire services from a home in Amsterdam and offices at
the Palais du Bourbon in Paris.
Ms. Clement recently completed her third title in the mystery
series, Main Liners III: Vortex of Secrets.
